Dart, Mary, Caleb and I had a great time cutting grass, picking garbage, planting and talking to neighbors on Monday, October 13 at the Bailey Place Triangle. Although you may not see them now, we planted about 30 lovely wildflowering plants which will grow to be large (most of them 3 feet by 3 feet) and beautiful! They will look lovely in the spring, and it only took us 2 hours. They were given to us by the Butterfly Project; they are all intended for full sun, and they will attract pollinators (like butterflies).
Mary Forrester is getting 100 Daffodil bulbs this weekend. Would you like to come out and plant them with us in the triangle? We’ll meet on Sunday, October 19 at 1 p.m. at the Bailey Place Triangle Garden Again, we expect it will take us 2 hours or less (the more people, the less time!)
If you’ve got a trowel, or a shovel, or a bulb-planter, bring it along.
