Jackson Development said at the last Land Use Committee meeting that they wouldn’t have complete drawings available for 3 months, yet over the last few weeks they’ve killed most of the trees on the lot, and begun moving earth.
At first, neighbors assumed they were doing just enough to do test borings on this difficult site, but as it became clear that the work closer to excavation, they called 311.
Buildings Department inspectors came out on 5/9/11 and imposed a stop work order. The next day, it was partially rescinded to allow certain backfill work to continue, as detailed below, and then to allow only test borings to take place.
Neighbors are reminded that if they see illegal work taking place at this site, or dangerous conditions, they should call 311 and notify FIPNA.
