Con Edison will perform work on electric transmission cables starting Tuesday, November 17 on Sedgwick Avenue between Giles Place and Stevenson Place.
This work requires excavation and will take place Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm and Saturday, 8am-4pm. Two crews will be working from opposite ends of the project route in 150’ increments: one crew between Giles Pl. and W. 238th going northbound; one crew starting south of Stevenson Place working southbound.
NO PARKING signs will be posted on both sides of the roadway within the
active construction segments. The project will be completed by the end of December.
