Alarm test at Jerome Park Reservoir

On Thursday, November 12 at approximately 9 AM, NYCDEP’s Bureau of Water and Sewer Operations will conduct its quarterly alarm safety, maintenance and inspection test at the Jerome Park Reservoir.

The alarm may be detectable near the site; however, there will be an announcement before the alarm is activated that the sounding of the alarm is a test.  The test is expected to take between one and five minutes.

This message is being sent for your information.  The alarm test is not part of the Croton Filter Project construction.
