You can see by looking at the strike line in the following photos that all Audrey’s coworkers attended the services.
The [...]

Day 88 & 89 (Weekend Wrap-up) – Well after Fridays post and all the comments that followed I would say that the weekend was quite calm. The strike line was still strong but somber as Monday is the day of services for Audrey and Tuesday will be the funeral.
Since there is not much to report [...]

Day 87 – There was not much going on today because it was raining all day, it wouldn’t let up for a minute. The striking members are still strong and have been holding the line through rain, snow and freezing cold. If you think they are giving up and moving on, you are sorely [...]

Day 84 – After the shock of hearing yesterday’s news about Audrey passing away so suddenly the strike line was in a very somber mood. All the members gathered in prayer and song and then they were delivered a speech by Isaac.
We thought it would be appropriate for the neighborhood association to send flowers to [...]

Day 81 & 82 – First I would like to wish all of the mothers out there a very Happy Mothers Day!
Since this Sunday was Mothers Day I did not expect too many members to be on the line, boy was I wrong. The line was well manned and for good reason, the guys on [...]

Day 80 – The strike is still ongoing, 80 days and not a glimmer of negotiations. Why can’t Helen see that the union members are not going anywhere and the longer it takes the more pressure will be put on her to negotiate with them. She can’t bury her head in the sand and hope [...]
