Day 88 & 89 (Weekend Wrap-up) – Well after Fridays post and all the comments that followed I would say that the weekend was quite calm. The strike line was still strong but somber as Monday is the day of services for Audrey and Tuesday will be the funeral.
Since there is not much to report this weekend I will have a look back at some of the comments that were made on Fridays post.
“Five employees of Highgate were convicted last year for patient neglect and falsifying records, including: Licensed Practical Nurses Teresa Loy, Renee Fulmer and Mary Kenyon, and Certified Nurse Aides Steve Nadeau and Judy Abreu-Boswell.”
This is interesting because if there are employees that are falsifying records they too can be held accountable. Didn’t Mr. Scab (Martin) say at one point that he was correcting records that Jackie did incorrectly?
You are right in your comments, Helen and her cohorts have nothing satisfactory inside the nursing home to show to the public.
Part of the hidden game stem from the the so called state inspectors who unfortunately are been paid by greedy Helen
Funny how all the newspaper reports mention the DOH inspectors visiting daily and saying everything is fine. They don’t show up daily, and when they do, many times they’re out of the facility in less than five minutes. I wonder if the DOH and their inspectors would care to explain to the public the numerous videos of this.
So it seems that the union may be onto something here if both of these comments are true, how can the inspectors claim to be there daily but yet many have said they do not show up daily. Does the DOH have records of their visits? What about the number of inspectors, is there only one assigned to Kingsbridge? If so I think it is high time the DOH should send some others in.
Just for the people’s information one of your FIPNA members comes to visit her friend at least one a week. Her friend has been a resident of KHHCF for many years. Her(the FIPNA member) picture is proudly displayed in one of your group shots at the rally. of May 3rth So when she does visit she has full access to the facility., to see if anything is going on that does not seem okay.
While this is true a FIPNA member does visit a friend at least once a week if not more, I don’t know where you come off thinking that she is the one we are getting our information from. There are many family members that speak out against KHRCC and there would be many more except that they fear retribution to their family member residing in KHRCC.
Here is one family member that has a lot to say about Kingsbridge, Stan Funches has an Aunt that is currently residing in KHRCC. He is always a pleasure to talk to and has many things to say, you can view his video here, or on youtube.com
Helen, what are you afraid of? Let us in, we want to see what is going on? If you are so sure that you are right, then you have nothing to hide. . . . Oh, and by the way, not only have you not maintained the home on Giles Place, you forgot to pay the taxes. What’s up with that? Soon we will buy it in rem . . .
This is my thought too, why don’t you let us in to see what is going on? If you have nothing to hide and all is well, then let us come in and see for ourselves. I personally would have no problem reporting my findings here for all to see.
Till tomorrow, STAND STRONG!
