for Peace and Justice on the 40th anniversary of

To support the struggle of our striking neighbors — our
Brothers and Sisters of 1199 SEIU Health Care Workers of
Kingsbridge Heights Rehabilitation & Care Center

Friday, April 4, 2008
7:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Meet at: 3340 Giles Place

Sponsored by the
Community Organization Strike Alliance – COSA
(COSA NOSTRA, Our Cause)

Community Coalition List
We support the efforts of 1199 SEIU on behalf of the Health
Care Workers at the Kingsbridge Heights Rehabilitation and
Care Center. All workers, including Health Care workers
deserve health care benefits. As most of the funding for long
term nursing is public funding from Medicare and Medicaid,
there is no excuse for rising costs, and every effort should be
used to come to an agreement for a signed contract with the workers.

Join us as we hold hands in front of the nursing home. We plan to sing and turn on flashlights. Come and show your support. It will only take one hour. Bring a friend.
