Tonight is a different story, the snow is blowing. I feel so bad for the strikers but they are standing strong!

Day 8 for the strike at Kingsbridge Heights and the union had a great turn-out once again. The were joined by the members of the Amalgamated maintenance union in their march for a contract.

Nothing new going on today, 1199 members still holding strong and demonstrating in front of both buildings. Union leaders held off all demonstration noise until 12 Noon today to respect the residents of the Nursing Home as well as us their neighbors.
